BuildSG Transformation Fund (BTF)

The BuildSG Transformation Fund (BTF) is an umbrella framework that brings together all the various industry development support schemes managed by BCA under one unified platform. It is not a single grant but rather the overarching fund that facilitates transformation plans for Built Environment (BE) firms under key Built Environment Industry Transformation Map (ITM) areas. The BTF also enables individuals to tackle key transformation areas through upskilling and training. The BTF covers a comprehensive range of support schemes across multiple transformation pillars: workforce development, DfMA/IDD adoption, green buildings and sustainability, holistic firm transformation, and research & innovation. Each sub-scheme under BTF has its own specific eligibility criteria, funding levels, and application processes. By consolidating these schemes under one umbrella, the BTF aims to make it easier for industry players to discover and access relevant support while ensuring coordinated transformation across the entire value chain.

Built Environment Technology and Capability (BETC) Grant

The Built Environment Technology and Capability (BETC) Grant is a strategic government funding scheme launched on 1 April 2025 to drive the next phase of industry transformation in Singapore's Built Environment (BE) sector. Backed by a S$100 million budget over five years (2025–2030), the BETC replaces the earlier Productivity Innovation Project (PIP) grant and is administered by BCA as part of the BuildSG Transformation Fund. The BETC grant encourages firms to develop new capabilities across three pillars: enterprise capability, technology adoption, and manpower development. Unlike prior project-specific grants, BETC emphasises longer-term and more holistic transformation — firms must demonstrate how initiatives will be sustained beyond a single project and drive continuous improvement with knowledge transfer across subsequent projects. The scheme is strategically aligned with Singapore's national goals of widespread digitalisation (Integrated Digital Delivery), 70% DfMA adoption for new developments, and greener buildings.

Business Improvement Fund (BIF)

The Business Improvement Fund (BIF) helps tourism businesses boost productivity and competitiveness by supporting technology innovation and adoption, business model and process enhancements, and sustainability initiatives across the tourism industries. It is one of STB's most established grant schemes and is particularly targeted at companies within the tourism sector. BIF supports projects that lead to business transformation, capability development, and long-term sustainability. Companies in the tourism ecosystem — including accommodation providers, travel agencies, attractions, MICE organisers, tour operators, and lifestyle/retail businesses with a strong tourism focus — can leverage BIF to drive innovation, improve operations, and deliver exceptional visitor experiences. The fund supports both SMEs and non-SMEs with different funding levels for each category.

CTO-as-a-Service (CTOaaS)

Chief Technology Officer-as-a-Service (CTO-as-a-Service) is IMDA's one-stop self-help platform that enables SMEs in Singapore to self-assess their digital readiness, access market-proven digital solutions, and engage digital consultants for in-depth digital transformation strategy advisory and project management services. It is a core component of the SMEs Go Digital programme, serving over 400,000 users in 2024. The platform provides a comprehensive suite of tools and services: a Digital Health Check for assessing digital readiness, recommendations of digital solutions based on business needs, the ability to compare over 300 pre-approved solutions by functions and costs, success stories from other SMEs, and the new Go Digital Advisor tool (launched in 2025) that helps SMEs identify the right solutions in just three clicks. Beyond self-service tools, CTO-as-a-Service also provides access to digital transformation consultants from appointed operators (Accenture and Stone Forest IT) who can provide tailored digital advisory, including digital solutions and training roadmaps, cybersecurity risk assessment, data usage and protection requirements, and project management services for digitisation implementation.

Energy Efficiency Grant (EEG)

The Energy Efficiency Grant (EEG) helps businesses improve their energy efficiency by co-funding investment in energy-efficient equipment across multiple sectors. The grant supports companies in transitioning towards more sustainable operations while reducing both energy costs and carbon footprint. The EEG provides two tiers of support: the base tier supports pre-approved energy-efficient equipment up to S$30,000 per company across six key sectors (Construction, Data Centres, Food Services, Maritime, Manufacturing, Retail), while the advanced tier supports larger investments up to S$350,000 that drive greater energy efficiency (available only for Construction, Manufacturing, and Maritime sectors). Equipment must demonstrate energy savings and be deployed in Singapore. Note: Data Centre users are administered by IMDA (not EnterpriseSG) and have a separate grant window extended to 31 March 2027. Enterprise Compute Initiative (ECI)

The Enterprise Compute Initiative (ECI) is a S$150 million Government-backed programme to accelerate AI and cloud adoption in Singapore-based businesses. The ECI connects enterprises with major Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) to access cutting-edge AI tools, cloud credits, and consultancy services to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The programme runs for one year from the respective launch dates of each CSP, with multiple cohorts deployed on a staggered timeline. Companies that are able to progress quickly can complete the programme earlier than six months. The ECI is led by Digital Industry Singapore (DISG), under IMDA, with support from EnterpriseSG, GovTech, and the Smart Nation Office.

Enterprise Workforce Transformation Package (EWTP)

The Enterprise Workforce Transformation Package (EWTP) is a consolidated package by Workforce Singapore that supports companies in workforce transformation and job redesign. It launched from March 2026 and brings together workforce development support into a unified offering applied through the Business Grants Portal (BGP). The two core components are: (1) the SkillsFuture Workforce Development Grant (Job Redesign+), or WDG(JR+), which funds up to 70% for SMEs and 50% for non-SMEs of qualifying costs, capped at S$150,000 per enterprise, across workforce consultancy, capability building and workforce tech solutions; and (2) the redesigned SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC). Anchor Programme Partners provide end-to-end advisory support for transformation efforts.

Experience Step-Up Fund (ESF)

Aimed at increasing the attractiveness of Singapore to visitors, the Experience Step-Up Fund (ESF) supports the development and enhancement of Singapore's tourism experiences. The ESF was introduced by STB to help businesses in the tourism industry enhance and innovate their tourism products and services, encouraging them to develop unique and high-quality tourism experiences that attract both domestic and international tourists. The latest TDF tranche includes enhancements to the ESF, supporting the development and enhancement of Singapore's tourism experiences that are virtual or include pre- and post-visit experiences to increase the attractiveness of Singapore to visitors. This recognises the evolving nature of tourism where digital and hybrid experiences play an increasingly important role. ESF is particularly relevant for attractions, tour operators, accommodation providers, and precinct businesses looking to create compelling new experiences or significantly enhance existing ones.

The Global Founder Programme (GFP) is a programme launched by EDB to attract experienced, seasoned business founders and innovators to launch and scale their next venture from Singapore as their global headquarters. It strengthens Singapore's startup ecosystem by supporting innovative ventures with the potential to become global industry leaders. The GFP follows a three-stage model: Start (soft landing/networking) → Build (establishment/team formation) → Accelerate (market expansion/capital connection). It is not a direct cash grant but rather a comprehensive support programme providing visa facilitation, capital connections, and strategic advisory services.

Good Design Research and Development (GDRD)

Good Design Research and Development (GDRD) is the DesignSingapore Council initiative under the Design 2035 Masterplan to catalyse design-led innovation among non-design businesses and support design firms expanding abroad. It builds on the older Good Design Research (GDR) programme, which supports Singapore companies using design research to build capability and develop validated proof-of-concept projects. DesignSingapore's current GDR page still lists funding of up to S$50,000. However, Business Times reported on 2 June 2026 that the refreshed GDRD initiative will receive more than S$15 million over the first three years, with businesses able to receive co-funding of up to S$450,000 for development work using design in their operations. Applicants should check the official programme page and application form for the live terms before applying.

Growth and Transformation Scheme (GTS)

The Growth and Transformation Scheme (GTS) is a strategic BCA initiative designed to support the formation and development of strategic alliances among Built Environment (BE) value chain partners. Recognizing that the BE sector is made up of many independent businesses with heavy inter-dependencies, GTS encourages multiple partnering companies — developers, consultants, builders, and sub-contractors — to come together and collectively develop strong, capable supply chains over the long term. Unlike firm-level grants, GTS goes beyond project-specific support and enables companies to take a long-term view on business and workforce transformation. It supports partnership efforts to strengthen technical capabilities as well as corporate, digital, and innovation practices, achieving mutually beneficial outcomes over a sustained period. The government has set aside S$90 million under GTS to co-fund up to 70% of qualifying costs for alliance-based transformation initiatives.

Logistics Industry Digital Plan (IDP)

The Logistics Industry Digital Plan (IDP) is part of the SMEs Go Digital programme, aligned to the Logistics Industry Transformation Map (ITM). It provides a step-by-step guide on the digital solutions SMEs in the Logistics industry can adopt at each stage of their growth. The first Logistics IDP was launched in 2017 and has been jointly refreshed by IMDA, Enterprise Singapore (ESG), and the industry to introduce new digital solutions that meet current and anticipated future needs. The refreshed Logistics IDP includes new digital solutions across different growth stages, a new Digital Training Roadmap to help SMEs identify relevant training programmes for workforce upskilling, integrated and advanced digital solutions for deeper digital capabilities, a roadmap on Cybersecurity and Data Protection measures, and Change Management guidance. A 2021 IMDA survey showed that IDP-recommended digital solutions improved overall work process efficiency, with ~85% of respondents observing time savings and 75% noting manpower-efficient digital solutions reduced dependency on manual labour.

Productive Hawker Centres (PHC) Programme

The Productive Hawker Centres (PHC) programme aims to increase productivity at hawker centres by subsidising the adoption of centralised dishwashing (CDW) services with common crockery. The CDW initiative eliminates the need for manual washing by individual stallholders, allowing them to focus on their core food preparation business. In 2023, the programme was broadened to include the Cleaning Process Automation (CPA) scheme, which co-funds the deployment of cleaning automation solutions at hawker centres that have already implemented CDW. The PHC programme is a centre-level initiative — individual stallholders do not apply directly.

Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG)

The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) helps Singapore companies improve productivity and automate existing processes through pre-approved IT solutions and equipment. As one of the most accessible government grants, it facilitates ease of adoption by pre-qualifying specific solutions and vendors across multiple sectors. Unlike EDG which requires custom project proposals, PSG supports sector-specific and generic solutions that have been pre-approved by EnterpriseSG and participating agencies. Companies simply select from a list of pre-approved solutions, obtain quotations from pre-approved vendors, and apply through the Business Grants Portal. The grant is particularly well-suited for SMEs looking to quickly adopt tried-and-tested technology solutions ranging from accounting software to CRM systems, e-commerce platforms, cybersecurity solutions, and sector-specific equipment.

SkillsFuture Workforce Development Grant (Job Redesign+)

The SkillsFuture Workforce Development Grant (Job Redesign+), also known as WDG(JR+), is a workforce development grant that launched from March 2026 as part of the Enterprise Workforce Transformation Package (EWTP). It provides enhanced support for job redesign, helping enterprises transform their workforce, redesign roles, adopt flexible work and AI-ready practices, and build internal capability. WDG(JR+) funds up to 70% for SMEs and 50% for non-SMEs of qualifying costs, capped at S$150,000 per enterprise, across three components: (1) Workforce Consultancy (up to $50,000) — expert guidance from pre-approved consultants to assess business needs, redesign jobs and develop an implementation plan; (2) Capability Building (up to $60,000) — building internal HR and line-manager expertise to drive ongoing job redesign; and (3) Workforce Tech Solutions (up to $90,000) — technology tools for data-driven workforce planning, which must be paired with at least one of the other components. WDG(JR+) succeeds the former Support for Job Redesign under the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG-JR), which ended on 31 December 2025, making WDG(JR+) the replacement for PSG job redesign support. It operates on a nett-fee model: enterprises pay only their co-funding portion to the pre-approved consultant, and the government grant is paid to the consultant by the Anchor Programme Partner upon completion of approved project milestones.

SMEs Go Digital

The SMEs Go Digital programme is IMDA's flagship initiative to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) adopt digital technologies to improve operations and generate new revenue. SMEs are at the heart of Singapore's economy, employing two-thirds of the workforce and contributing nearly half of Singapore's GDP. The programme aims to make going digital simple and accessible for all SMEs, regardless of their current digital maturity level. Building on the foundation of the Enhanced iSPRINT programme, SMEs Go Digital takes a more structured and inclusive approach towards digital solution adoption. It provides SMEs with sector-specific Industry Digital Plans (IDPs) as step-by-step guides, access to pre-approved digital solutions with grant support through the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG), and digital consultancy services through the CTO-as-a-Service platform. The programme encompasses several key components: Industry Digital Plans covering 22 sectors, pre-approved solutions with PSG grant support, the CTO-as-a-Service platform (serving 400,000+ users in 2024), Advanced Digital Solutions (ADS), the GenAI Navigator tool, and InvoiceNow for e-invoicing.

Tourism Development Fund (TDF)

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) partners with the tourism sector to strengthen Singapore's tourism through the Tourism Development Fund (TDF). The TDF is the umbrella framework that encompasses all STB grant schemes, designed to catalyse the creation of innovative and quality tourism products and experiences, and support capability and employee upgrading efforts among tourism-related enterprises. The Water Efficiency Fund (WEF) was launched by PUB in 2007 to encourage organisations to seek efficient and innovative ways to manage their water demand. The fund has increased its maximum support for recycling projects from S$1 million to S$5 million.
