The NRF Central Gap Fund supports the translation of research outcomes into products, processes and/or services that generate economic and societal benefits for Singapore. It provides a national-level platform to resource impactful projects and encourage collaboration across public research performers and/or industry. The fund bridges the gap between basic research and full commercialisation, helping researchers develop early technologies into working prototypes or functional processes that are closer to market. Projects from any area of science and engineering are eligible, but only projects that aim to develop technologies of high impact and significant value for Singapore will be considered.

Enterprise Financing Scheme (EFS) - Venture Debt

The EFS-VD aims to finance the growth of innovative enterprises using Venture Debt and Warrants. It supports high-growth enterprises that do not have significant assets to be used as collateral under traditional bank lending. Under the enhanced programme, the venture debt facility can be backed by warrants or redeemable convertible preference shares. Use cases include growing and expanding existing capacity, diversifying into other product lines, augmenting working capital needs, undertaking new projects, and undergoing mergers and acquisitions.

Generative AI (GenAI) Programme

IMDA's Generative AI (GenAI) Programme helps digitally mature enterprises understand GenAI and implement solutions with tech partners to access new markets, boost productivity, and create new products. The programme is delivered through two tracks: 1. **GenAI x Digital Leaders (GenAI x DL)** — a project-based track with a Tech Discovery phase (understand GenAI, identify use cases, receive tech advisory) followed by a Project Implementation phase (partner with vendors, deploy solutions, receive governance and best-practice guidance). 2. **CTO-as-a-Service** — off-the-shelf GenAI-powered solutions available without customisation via the CTO-as-a-Service portal. Common use cases supported include Knowledge Mining, Customer Engagement, Conversational Analytics, Operations Automation, and Content Generation.

Good Design Research & Development (GDRD)

Good Design Research & Development (GDRD) is a DesignSingapore Council (Dsg) initiative under the Design 2035 Masterplan. It supports non-design organisations in adopting design as a strategic capability for innovation and growth, while enabling design firms to develop new capabilities, services and products that strengthen Singapore's design sector. GDRD supersedes the earlier Good Design Research (GDR) programme and now covers the full innovation journey through three project types. Design Research helps organisations understand users, identify opportunities and validate assumptions, culminating in a validated Proof-of-Concept (POC). Design Development transforms a validated POC into a market-ready product, service, system or experience through prototyping, pilot deployment, testing, small-scale production and commercialisation. Design Research + Development combines both stages in a single project. Co-funding is up to 50% of qualifying project costs incurred within the approved qualifying period: up to S$50,000 over 12 months for Design Research, up to S$450,000 over 24 months for Design Development, and up to S$500,000 over 36 months for a combined project. Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee funding — applications are assessed on merit, impact and the availability of funds.

A strategic partnership between Income Insurance Limited and NCSS to accelerate the growth of social service programmes through innovative, collaborative, and empowering solutions that strengthen caregivers' resilience and ease their caregiving burden. Professional Capability Grant (PCG) — Sabbatical Leave Scheme

The Sabbatical Leave Scheme offers social service professionals 10 weeks of paid leave with salary support of up to $15,000. Available for Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, Psychologists, Counsellors, and EIPIC teachers. After completing the sabbatical, recipients may be asked to mentor junior professionals and must conduct a sharing session and submit a written report.

SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP)

The SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP) supports mid-career individuals in acquiring industry-relevant skills to improve employability and pivot to new sectors or job roles. This train-and-place programme is available in part-time or full-time format, typically ranging from three to 12 months, and is delivered by Continuing Education and Training (CET) Centres with employment facilitation services. Courses under the SCTP have been progressively launched since April 2022, with a target to have at least 200 SCTP courses by 2025. The programme focuses on sectors with good hiring opportunities such as Infocomm and Technology, Professional Services, and Advanced Manufacturing. It operates on a train-and-place modality with career advisory and employment assistance.

SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC)

The SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC) aims to encourage employers to undertake enterprise and workforce transformation initiatives. It provides additional support, over and above existing schemes, to eligible employers for their enterprise and workforce transformation efforts. Eligible employers receive a one-off credit of S$10,000 per entity to cover up to 90% of out-of-pocket expenses on qualifying costs. The SFEC was originally announced in Budget 2020 and expanded in Budget 2022. As announced in Budget 2025, the current SFEC has been further extended and a redesigned SFEC is being introduced under the Enterprise Workforce Transformation Package (EWTP), which launched from March 2026. Under the redesigned scheme, qualifying companies receive a fresh $10,000 credit.
