Company-Led Training Programme (CLT)

Full salary support for up to 12 months during training

IMDA's Company-Led Training (CLT) programme is designed to accelerate the professional development of fresh professionals, mid-career professionals and mature PMETs in the tech and media sectors. It provides on-the-job training to equip trainees with competencies for jobs in demand by industry, especially those supporting digital economy sector transformation efforts. The programme covers in-demand job roles in emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Infrastructure, Product Development, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Virtual Production and more. Trainees gain employment and receive a salary while being equipped with in-demand tech and media skills, working on projects guided by experienced mentors.

Eligibility Criteria

    Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents

    Degree/Diploma/ITE Certificate or other relevant qualifications

  • 03

    Companies must be Singapore-registered with capabilities to deliver training programmes

    Companies must have good track record of human resource development

  • 05

    Number of SPR trainees should not exceed 15% of total trainees who have completed training

For Individuals: 1. View available job roles on the CLT portal 2. Apply directly to participating companies 3. Companies evaluate applications and conduct interviews 4. Successful candidates sign employment contracts before programme commencement

For Companies: 1. Register interest via techmanpowerquestionnaire portal 2. Submit detailed programme proposal to IMDA 3. Demonstrate training capabilities and commitment to structured career progression 4. Obtain grant approval before hiring trainees

Claims and Disbursement

Companies receive funding to support trainee salaries and training costs. Payment is structured throughout the training duration. Companies must provide regular progress reports and ensure programme completion.
