Talent Accelerator Programme (TAP)

Approximately S$200 million (~US$154 million) over 3 years, covering development mentorships, production co-funding, and distribution marketing support

The Talent Accelerator Programme (TAP) is a new approximately S$200 million programme launched by IMDA on 3 December 2025 to support Singapore's media industry. Running for three years, TAP represents a major commitment to develop creative talent, strengthen co-production partnerships, and build a more resilient media industry. It brings a sharper focus on global distribution and genre-driven Intellectual Property (IP) development, with structured pathways for Singapore's talent to progress in the film and television industry. TAP supports the full media value chain — from development to production and distribution — so that promising ideas from Singapore can reach global audiences. The programme introduces structured pathways to grow talent at each stage of the media value chain, giving professionals a clear roadmap to grow their craft and commercial skills. The S$200 million investment signals IMDA's commitment to ensuring Made-with-Singapore content stands out on the international stage, building a stronger pipeline of stories with global appeal and positioning Singapore as a co-production hub and trusted creative partner in the region.
